Do you have a skincare routine? If not, it’s never too early to start a daily skincare routine. In fact, if you wait until you’ve developed age spots, contour creases, or wrinkles, it could be too late. It will keep your skin smooth and supple for as long as possible.
Nobody said a skincare routine has to be complicated, strict or anything else. Quite the contrary, usually simpler is much better. Though it may not matter so much which products you include or exclude from your routine, the order in which you apply them does matter.
Here’s why you shouldn’t forget your skincare routine or establish a skincare routine:

1. More Confidence
If you take care of your skin every day as you should, following an easy skincare routine, you’ll be rewarded with clearer, healthier skin. So, this can increase your confidence and make you feel so much better about yourself. You will feel happier and prettier.
2. Consistency is Key
Be patient. Trying a new product once or twice and expecting to see dramatic results is not going to happen, unfortunately. The best way to see results with your skin is to keep coming back time after time and retry it. (Of course, except if your skin gets worse than ever!) You will probably see far more results with a long term plan than you will with a week-long “miracle treatment.”
3. Results Will Be Easier to Maintain
Starting and maintaining a new habit is the hardest thing. Sometimes it can be very long and discouraging but if you see your skin getting clearer and prettier, won’t you want to keep those good results going? Results are the rewards.
4. You’ll Establish Other Good Routines
If you maintain a good skincare routine for acne-prone skin and start seeing results, chances are
that will encourage you to start new good habits such as: taking your bedtime routine more seriously, work out more, or start eating healthier.
WHAT IS THE BEST SKIN CARE ROUTINE?
Cleanser

A gentle cleanser will help remove the dirt that has accumulated on your face due to pollution and sweat/oil production. It also helps to remove makeup and products such as sunscreen. Choose a gentle foam cleanser for oily skin, and a cream cleanser for sensitive, normal and drier skin.
Moisturizer
The purpose of a moisturizer is to protect the skin barrier, nourish, hydrate, and restore. Look for ingredients such as niacinamide, hyaluronic acid and ceramides.
Sun Protection
A sunscreen is vital in any skin care routine. It is not necessary only when you are at the beach. Did you know it? You have to use it even on a cloudy day, even if spending the day indoors, even in winter. In short, all the time! A sunscreen protects the skin from the damage that the sun rays cause on the skin, causing premature ageing, cancer, pigmentation, etc. There are chemical and mineral sunscreens to choose from. The key is to find one that works for you, your skin colouring and your skin condition. Once you find the right one, make sure you apply every morning and reapply throughout the day.
Morning Routine
In the morning you would cleanse and then apply moisturizer. Wait 2/3 minutes and then apply your sunscreen. If you are applying makeup, it would be applied on top of the sunscreen. Obviously, you need to wait a little bit for the sunscreen to dry. Make sure you reapply your sunscreen throughout the day – even on top of makeup.
Night Routine
Before going to bed, double cleanse to make sure you remove the morning products, sunscreen, sweat and pollution. Then, apply your treatment product. If need be can apply a moisturizer over the treatment product once the treatment product has penetrated – this could be the same moisturizer you use in the morning.
Watch out for the ingredients
Before buying a new product, watch out for the ingredients that are too harsh on the skin such as perfume or apricot stones in some scrubs. Other ingredients might again be a waste of your time and money, such as collagen (too big to penetrate). The most famous brands are often not the best. So, take your time before buying a new product.

To conclude, a skincare routine doesn’t have to be super complicated. Take your time before buying a new product and be patient when you are trying them
.
When establishing your skincare routine, go easy on yourself, and be forgiving if you forget a day. Stick with your skincare routine over a period of weeks, or months, and photograph your results. Consistency is always key when dealing with skin!
